2051 Pavillon

Will 2051 be high-tech or a period of low-tech decline?

2051 Pavillon

Synopsis

The film is divided into three distinct parts. The first, Landing, depicts the arrival in Geneva of two astronauts who use their rockets as an ordinary transport vehicle. The second part, Walkabout, is a walk through the city, a nomadic journey in a nod to the initiatory journey of the Australian aborigines who will live unique experiences in the "outback". Finally, the Mapping part presents video projections on the suits of the astronauts from old low tech televisions.
